He did for me instead of me doing it for myself

I know we made a deal but last night I had a dream...I mean a DREAM!

Jesus was living his life here on earth. One day He went on top of a roof (You know how you could do that on the houses back then?) and started constructing a cross. I was there with Him, but I wasn't helping. Everyone else, (Mostly His disciples) was wondering what He was doing. I was the only one who knew. As I was watching Him, I started crying. Then we started working on another cross right beside His, and I was helping with this one. When I started working on this cross, I heard music. It was a woman singing. Don't ask me why, but I threw a towel on the cross and I couldn't see the top part. When it landed on the cross I saw a woman on the cross. She was singing the music I was hearing. I looked down. When I looked back up again she was gone. Then all of the sudden it was the crucifixion. I closed my eyes because I was starting to wake up, but I wanted to open them. I couldn't see anything but I was still crying and I could feel myself being so afraid and scared and I was hurting. Then I opened my eyes and saw Jesus being put on the cross and the pain was gone. Everyone that was there watching turned to the other cross, which had been moved directly opposite of Jesus so He could see it while He was hanging. They were wondering who the cross was for because the cross was empty.

Then I woke up. At first I was confused....What did it mean???? I had had the dream before, but this was the first time I knew what it meant. Jesus knew that He would be crucified, and He knew it was for me. That cross that I was constructing was mine. That lady represented me. I was the one that was supposed to die on that cross. But God did it for me, He died in my place. But remember at the last part, when people were looking at the cross wondering who it was for? Not only was the cross for ME..It was for THEM, for YOU. God died in your place. Have you thanked Him for that today?
