Black Light

Yesterday in science class, my teacher was demonstrating how only white and a few other colors can be seen when a black light is turned on. This occurs because the waves emitted from a black light is ultraviolet light, invisible to the eye, and only colors of certain frequencies reflect back. I thought that was cool, appreciated the science, and went on with class. In the evening, I took a walk, and while the socks on my feet got soaked (don't worry, at least I had slippers on..a bad choice on a wet day), I had an interesting thought. Suppose that one day, unexpectedly, our bodies were stripped away, so that all that was left of us were our souls. The sun was then replaced by a huge black light. How many of our souls would be pure enough to shine?
There is no such thing as being perfect, but we can be pure.

Just a thought.

wow!...the only way to test white is using black!

wow. just had a practical experience right this very moment. wow. how true vitz. its like the stained-glass windows - beautiful by the day, but when it's dark, their beauty is only reflected if there's light inside!
