Trust

Oh, what an unknowing fool I was!
To trust so much, in someone besides You.
But I think i've learned the lesson,because
I've know that the Person I should depend on is You.
He broke my heart, she disappointed me.
What a fool I was!
That I can clearly see.

Yet I know that I must,
Not to a dependant state,
But I know that I must trust.
Yet where's the balance between the two?
How do I know how much to trust,
How do I know who?
Yet there's so much comfort in knowing..
There's no question with You.

Give me the wisdom, to understand
That sometimes I need others,
But sometimes I must stand
Alone, without sisters or brothers.
But even if it's just You,
If it's just a few,
Or a multitude,
You'll take me through.
