Merry Christmas

A cry broke through the early morning stillness,
The angels in heaven rejoiced.
A tear rolled down the Father's cheek
Smiles crossed man's face
A baby was born
A baby who would one day change the world.
As a child, He loved,
As a man, He changed.
For God so loved the world, He gave His only Son.
The Man saved the dying,
Healed the sick,
Yet when He was dying,
No one saved Him.
But that was His plan all along.
He was bruised, torn, and bleeding for me, for you
Tears slid down His face
So we could be happy.
He died an awful death
So we could live forever.
Whosoever believes in Him shall not perish.
On the Cross He died.
On the Cross He saved.
So we could have eternal life.
He lived a perfect life
And He reigns in heaven and on earth
Celebrate that He was born
Rejoice that He lived
Thank Him because He died
And live because He rose again.....
