Only Away..

She looks up into the sky
Sees the stars twinkling
The reflection catches her eye
And her eyes start twinkling.
She bounds up to the roof with a contented sigh.
She sits gazing at the stars, seeing them fly by.

The wind blows softly, singing the songs in her heart.
It seems that the wind knows them from the start.
She stands on the rooftop slowly,
The moonlight catching her hair
As it falls from her shoulders only
To be caught in the moving air.

She lifts her arms, slowly, with ease
Listens to the wind blowing through the trees.
With starlight and moonlight above her
Wind and slient music around her
And nothing below her,
She feels herself move.
She jumps
And then flies away...
Being carried by the air
Going, who knows where...
Only, away...
